The Good

o This MUV comes with a 4 wheel drive mechanism and has enough power to run efficiently on all terrains.

o It has good ground clearance and turning radius which ensures effortless handling of the car.

o It’s a lot spacious with ample amount of leg & knee room for every passenger.

o It comes with features like height adjustor and 3 position lumbar support on the driver’s seat, key less entry with immobilizer, HVAC with roof mounted, and more.

o This MUV is much safer than all the other Tata makes. It comes with dual airbags in the front, ABS, side impact bars, crumple zone, rear view camera for reversing, tilt-able steering column, demister on rear windscreen, and more.

o The air-con is immensely effective and cools the cabin quickly.

o Interior of the car has been redone and looks superb now with the much more spacious dashboard and newly added features.

The Bad

o The clutch of this MUV is really hard and not driver friendly at all.

o One can only use 1^st and 2^nd gear in slow city traffic, as the car literally refuses to move in 3^rd gear, unless the speed is above 40km.

o Gear shifting is not smooth and requires improvement.

o The side facing seats at the back can be a put off for many.

o Due to its heavier weight proportion, Dicor doesn’t have a great pickup.

Xpert Opinion

Tata safari has definitely moved one step ahead with Dicor. They have rectified various shortcomings including the lesser inner space, heating problem of the engine, rough gear shifting and more. The exterior and interior have been redone and looks much better now. This MUV comes loaded with various attractive and much required features. There are no flaws as such in Dicor, except the fact that it doesn’t have a great pickup and not so suitable for city driving. All in all, it’s worth buying for the amount that’s been asked.
