They don’t require an introduction nor does their physique. One is always on your TV screens without a shirt and the other one is seen vrooming around on those peppy looking bikes. Almost everyone loves and adores both, but all that didn’t come easily to them. They have slogged out a lot of sweat for that great physique. Let’s get an insight on their fitness regime.


Salman Khan’s Fitness Trainer

Body type: “His body structure is not like a body builder's but good muscles, perfectly in shape and no fat” says his personal trainer D’Souza.

Work keeps Salman busy most of the times. Thus, at times he starts his workout as late as 2 am. “Salman works out for at least two hours continuously. His workout includes one hour of cardio- concentrating on any two body parts each time- triceps, legs, back and biceps” says D’souza.

He is very particular and serious about his workout and once in the gym, nothing affects his concentration. While in the gym, if someone approaches him for an autograph or a photograph, he asks them to wait until he is finished with his training. He has got perfect abs and works a lot to keep them in shape. “He does five hundred crunches, pull-ups and chin-ups” adds D’Souza.

“He does unbelievable stuff like 1,000 push-ups a day or 2,000 sit-ups a day” says Manish Advilkar, who is a fitness trainer and has trained Salman for over 6 years. Discipline and dedication have been the two pillars of Salman’s fitness success. “Today, of course his body speaks for his dedication. No matter how punishing his shooting schedule, Salman will find time to exercise” adds Manish.

Now let’s sneak into his health routine of John Abraham and uncover his fitness mantra.


John Abraham’s Fitness Trainer

Body type:: "John is blessed with a good physique. He possesses an athletic body. He used to play football and basketball during his school and college days. And his sincere efforts towards body-building give him a 'Perfect 10 Physique," Khabib says.

According to Khatib, John is very supportive and does everything that’s been asked of him. "He is a good learner as well as a sincere student. In the last four years, I never felt that I am training a Bollywood star. In fact, he also continues his health routine whenever he goes out for shooting," says Khatib.

His daily fitness schedule is rigorous and really effective. "Every day he works out for two-three hours. His daily workout includes weight lifting and kickboxing sessions. He even goes regularly to gym and does his cardio-exercises," adds Khatib.

As far as his diet is concerned this is what his trainer had to say: "He is very health conscious and he is a pure vegetarian. For his diet, we consult his dietician and nutrition experts. He doesn't take any extra supplements."


Be Like Them
At times these actors work for 15 hours or more in a day. Still if they can manage to spare 2-3 hours out of their busy schedule for working-out, it says a lot about their dedication and discipline. Now for any regular person who works for anywhere between 8-10 hours a day, taking time out for his personal fitness shouldn’t be that much of an issue.
