Your bum chum has decided to go to the states to get a college degree? All these situations call for an unforgettable send-off. So get ready to throw a farewell that will knock the socks off your friend your and leave you with plenty of memories.

Things you will need as a host:

1. A List of the guest of honors’ close friends

2. A video camera

3. Disposable cameras

4. Alcohol/ starters

5. A techie

Preparation:

1. Get a video camera (if you don’t have one, make sure you invite the wealthy leech who has one)

2. Buy some disposable cameras

3. Send out invites and make sure people RSVP well in advance

4. Ask the techie to make a PowerPoint presentation of pictures, videos, and basically funny memories of the guest of honor

On the day:

1. Catch one person to interview all the guests about the guest of honor (things to start with- how they know the person, what do they like the most, the most irritating quality, and so on.. you can build this depending on what kind of an end product you want, if you want the memoirs to be funny, cute, emotional, and so on)

2. Tell guests to go wild with the disposable cameras and click as many pictures as they can

3. Make sure enough alcohol is flowing to ensure memorable moments.

4. Once everybody is slightly high, start the power point presentation that is sure to have people rolling on the floor

Afterwards:

1. Once you have cleaned up the mess, thrown the drunkards out, collect all the disposable cameras and get some prints

2. Make a collage or enlarge a few of the best pictures to give as going-away presents

3. Edit the video

4. Make a DVD of the videos

Additional tips:

1. You can make it a surprise party

2. Compile a list of the guest of honor’s favorite songs- play them at the party

3. Get a cake

4. Put out scrap papers and ask all the guests to write something they will always remember about the guest of honor

5. Play some party games (better when everybody is high)
