Hailing from Brazil, Bruna Abdullah was first noticed in Shekhar Suman’s music video, which launched him as a singer. She later did an item number in the Ajay Devgan starrer Cash. More recently, Channel [V] chose her to host their new show, India’s Hottest, along with VJ Aditya.
This 25 year old holds a 3 year diploma in hotel management, one year diploma in events, worked in two call centres for a year and a half, graduated in psychology, worked at Elite model management as a junior booker, handling advertising agencies, foreign bookings and fashion in Mumbai. She met Amar Deb from Channel V, who said she must audition because he thought she talked a lot. We love this girl-next-door, now a full time vj.
Before making her way to India, Tina lived in Toronto and New York City and pursued acting, bagging roles in a variety of independent movies. Her first show was Channel [V]'s Freedom Express and she traveled throughout India, second class, no AC! We would have gladly done the same to be with her.
